Travel CT Technologist - $2,573 per week

About the role
A skilled Multi‑Modality Technologist is needed to provide exceptional imaging and patient care in both X‑ray and Computed Tomography (CT) modalities. The technologist will be responsible for producing high‑quality diagnostic images and effectively communicating procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality imaging procedures in X‑ray and CT modalities.
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure they are informed and at ease.
- Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care.
- Potentially float to like units to meet facility needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R).
- Registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
- SCRQSA certification.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification (pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire).
- Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS advantageous.
- First‑time travelers welcome; previous travel experience preferred.
Schedule
3×12‑hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend. The facility is flexible with time‑off requests; all requests must be submitted upon application.
Additional Information
Radiation badges must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply them to travelers. A 60‑mile radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered case‑by‑case. Parking is available for a one‑time fee, applicable only during nights and weekends. During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be required to participate in emergency response efforts; it is advised not to accept a new contract during this period.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
