Travel CT Technologist - $2,572 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires 1 year of experience and certification as a Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT CT).

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Knowledge of computed tomography equipment
• Ability to work with radiation safety protocols
• Good interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Physical stamina for standing and walking for long periods
