About the role
A CT Technologist position is available in Craig, Colorado. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing computed tomography (CT) modalities with a focus on patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. The Technologist will support department operations and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule
- Days shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
- Assist with patient positioning and education
- Verify exam orders
- Maintain supply inventory
- Flexibility to work overtime, including call, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
- Certification or eligibility for ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a CT Technologist
- Cross-training into other modalities like MRI or Mammography
