About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Day CT/X-Ray Technologist with 1+ years of independent experience in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging for a travel assignment in Calais, Maine. This role operates within a hospital diagnostic imaging department, providing coverage for routine, trauma, and mobile/portable imaging needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging
• Conduct trauma imaging and mobile/portable bedside imaging
• Administer IV contrast
• Provide X-ray coverage in the OR as needed
• Support shared call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet OR and department staffing needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT license; ARRT (CT) preferred
• State of Maine license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working independently in both diagnostic X-ray and CT
• Proficiency using multiple computer systems
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred
• Ability to perform IV contrast administration and mobile/portable bedside imaging
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week, rotating shifts
