About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona starting August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Accurately position patients and operate equipment according to protocols.
- Document patient information and images accurately.
- Adhere to infection control and sterilization guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent experience in this setting.
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA, recommended and may be required.
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per your discipline, specialty-related certifications preferred and may be required.
- Professional References.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Current certification in Angiographic Procedures from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
