About the role

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and ensure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 3x12s with every 3rd weekend required
• On-call: Not required

Responsibilities

• Float within scope to meet facility needs (possible to float to like units)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Certifications required:
  • Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
  • SCRQSA
  • BLS
  • ACLS (highly preferred)
• Experience highly preferred in:
  • Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities
  • Siemens equipment
  • EPIC, PACS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency (MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers)
