Travel CT Technologist - $2,561 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CT Scanner department of an acute care hospital
• Serve both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Perform CT examinations as prescribed by the referring physician
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Perform additional imaging responsibilities including studies performed with and without contrast media
• Use EMR: Medhost

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification (CT) required
• Both CT and X-ray experience required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved radiologic technology program
• State radiographer license required if applicable
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)

Schedule

4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
