Job Details:

  • 3x12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
  • Friday through Sunday schedule
  • 1 year of experience required
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RT-R-CT
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Siemens equipment experience required
  • Procedural experience required including iSTATs, Power Ports, and PPACs
  • Proficiency in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
  • Experience performing CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
  • IV start experience required
  • Radiation safety knowledge required
  • Experience with special procedures including abscess drainages, aspirations, chest tube placement, and suprapubic catheter placement preferred
  • Operates Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment
  • Serves adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
  • Patient ratios: 5 patients on days, 4 patients on nights, 3 patients on weekends
  • Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed
  • No tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Active license must be in hand at submission
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

This healthcare facility is a well-established health system offering a comprehensive range of medical services across multiple campuses. The facility supports a high-volume imaging department averaging 105 CPTs and 75 visits per day across 3 rooms, treating a diverse patient population including cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, general, geriatric, and pediatric cases. The organization provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more.
