Travel CT Technologist - $2,557 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a dual-modality CT and X-ray role at an orthopedic specialty hospital in Manhattan, NY. The assignment starts immediately and lasts for 8 weeks, with 36 hours per week, working 12 hours per shift, evenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic exams in exam room settings and via portable equipment
• Execute CT procedures such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Carry out X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Work in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
• Train for 2 weeks during the first two weeks of the assignment, then transition to evening shifts

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• Active NYS license (if applicable)
• Current BLS and IV Certification
• Siemens equipment experience
• Experience with portable X-ray equipment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 lbs
• Covered under the American Traveler COVID vaccine policy

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
