This role involves working independently as the sole imaging technologist on the night shift, primarily performing computed tomography (CT) scans with X-ray support. The assignment requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with emergency staff when lifting assistance is necessary. The position begins on August 17, 2026, with orientation scheduled for prior dates. Job Details: Shift: Nights, 12 hours Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum Required Qualifications: 12 months minimum of CT (Computed Tomography) experience, 12 months of X-ray experience, Iowa radiology license highly preferred (considering licensing candidates with a 1-3 week turnaround), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT required, active ARRT required at time of submission, valid drivers license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross, EMR experience with EPIC system required, somatom xcite experience highly preferred, experience with Shimadzu fixed room portables highly preferred, IV start experience highly preferred, eligibility for Iowa radiology license highly preferred. Additional Information: Will be the only technologist in imaging on night shift; support staff from ER can assist with lifting as needed. Equipment used includes McKesson (Change Healthcare) PACS system. The technician is responsible for transport to and from imaging. Holiday work required unless the unit is closed, specifically 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Orientation dates scheduled for 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31. Prior work history, resume, and skills checklist specific to the discipline are required for submission.
