Travel CT Technologist - $2,542 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. This position involves working 36 hours per week on three 12-hour day shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray duties independently as a solo technologist.
• Conduct scans including extremities, spine, abdomen, general CT, and X-ray.
• Handle patient types ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including walk-in ED patients, scheduled outpatient scans, and ER patients.
• Utilize EPIC (EMR), Sectra (PACS), Siemens CT (Go Excite Software), and CareStream X-ray equipment.
• No neuro or cardiac scans (except strokes, which are quickly transferred out); no special procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (manager approval may be considered for candidates with a gap in X-ray experience).
• First-time travelers accepted if comfortable working independently.
• Graduate of a Radiology school.
• BLS and ARRT-CT certifications required (no state license required for South Dakota).

Schedule

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM.
• No on-call requirement.
• Expectation to work 50% of holidays during the contract.
• Orientation includes NEO plus 36–40 hours on-site.
