About the role

  • Work 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • On-call rotation required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM among staff members
  • On-call is needed if a staff member calls out (typically 3rd shift) or during high-volume trauma situations
  • On-call frequency is approximately every 4-5 weeks, not every week
  • No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
  • Perform high quality CT examinations on patient populations ranging from newborn through geriatrics
  • Perform inpatient, outpatient (Friday only), ER, and scheduled interventional cases (Friday only)
  • Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
  • Charting system: Epic

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations with a focus on quality and patient safety
  • Start IVs and administer contrast
  • Assist with biopsies
  • Operate and maintain PACS system proficiency

Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) CT certification required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completed student clinical rotation with ARRT certification
  • State license must be in hand at time of start — pending licenses not accepted
  • Radiation badge must be provided by agency
  • First-time travelers accepted

This facility is a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital with 286 total staffed beds. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and interventional imaging care. The CT department operates under the direction of experienced radiology leadership and supports a wide range of patient populations, providing advanced diagnostic imaging services around the clock.

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,537.68 (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation).
