Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging and related procedures in a busy department with a flexible staffing model based on shift needs
- Conduct diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
- Perform emergency department trauma and stroke imaging
- Complete neuro, musculoskeletal, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric imaging procedures
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 800
- Staffing Varies By: Shift, day, or week
- Day Shift: 5 Technologists and a supervisor
- Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
- Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
- Equipment Used: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
- Electronic Medical Record Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACS
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in all areas of CT Imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
- Experience with emergency department trauma and stroke imaging
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GE equipment
- Competence in invasive CT imaging
- Knowledge of cardiac imaging techniques
- Experience in pediatric imaging
- Venipuncture skills
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour day shifts
- Available shifts may include weekends
- Potential for rotation to different shifts as needed
