Travel CT Technologist - $2,535 per week

Job Summary

The position is for a CT Technologist in Nebraska. The role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging across various procedures, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, CT angiography (CTA), interventional radiology (IR) procedures such as biopsies and ablations, colonography, enterography, and trauma scans. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring optimal scan times, maintaining departmental standards, and providing excellent patient care. The shift is scheduled for nights, specifically from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with call requirements and holiday scheduling included.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License;
• ARRT (CT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications;
• proficient with computer systems, email, and multitasking;
• ability to communicate effectively;
• minimum 1 year of experience in radiologic technology;
• willingness to float within the department under the same manager;
• ability to adhere to dress code requirements (red scrubs or red t-shirt with Nebraska Medicine emblem).

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I trauma experience;
• experience with GE equipment;
• previous work at Nebraska Medicine within the past 12 months;
• prior experience with GE CT scanners, 256-slice, 64-slice, or 16-slice;
• familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS;
• knowledge of 3D reformatting, colonography, enterography, urograms, trauma scans, dual energy imaging;
• experience with hospital or acute care settings.
