About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans within a large medical center serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Floate between the Emergency Department, main campus, outpatient areas, and nearby clinics
- Work a mixed schedule of 4x10-hour shifts (Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and 3x12-hour shifts (Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Work nights, 36 hours per week
- Required to live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Must have active ARRT (CT) certification and current BLS certification (AHA)
- Must have proficiency with Epic EMR and GE CT equipment
- Required to cover holidays if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
Requirements
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 3 years of experience across ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT settings
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with GE CT equipment required
- License required if applicable

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
