About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions

- Interpersonal Skills: Must work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
