About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, Kansas. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night work. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, hold a BLS certification, and be ARRT (CT) certified.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
- Position patients for CT scans
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- State-specific licensing (if required)
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification

- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Skills
- Knowledge of computed tomography equipment
- Ability to work with patients and provide reassurance
