About the Role

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Baker City, Oregon. Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
  • Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
  • Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Current ARRT Certification
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Proficiency in PC skills
  • Physical abilities: remain stationary, move about, lift equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal skills: work effectively with various personnel, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate professionalism
  • Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures
  • Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain continuous concentration to detail
  • Sensory requirements: visual acuity and effective communication ability

Fusion Medical Staffing is an EOE/E-Verify Employer. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
