Travel CT Technologist - $2,504 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Assignment starts 08/31/2026, with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift.

About the role

The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They prepare and position patients, set technical parameters, provide high-quality images to radiologists, and adhere to radiation safety standards. The role involves maintaining equipment, documenting patient information, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and adapting to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
