Travel CT Technologist - $2,500 per week

About the role

AHS Staffing is looking for a CT Tech Radiologic Technologist in West Islip, NY for a Long Term (Travel) position. This assignment is expected to last 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
• Accurately document patient information and images
• Adhere to radiation dose management protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CT Technologist
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the ABR
• Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam

Skills

• Proficiency with CT equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles
