About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients
  • Ensure accurate and clear images for diagnostic purposes
  • Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with Client and Meditech EMR systems preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized radiologic technology program
  • Current registration as a CT technologist with the ARRT
  • Current BLS certification

Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proficiency with CT scanning equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Additional Information

  • Number of beds: 18
  • Number of staff: 8
  • Day shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 techs
  • Night shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 techs, varies on volume
  • Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient
  • Equipment: ALL Client Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Typical hiring profile: Candidates must have ARRT (CT) & BLS certifications
  • Preferred skills: RT (T), ASRT FASRT
  • Created pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment
  • Best personality fit: Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude, ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients
  • Dress code: Scrub color - Navy Blue
