Travel CT Technologist - $2,478 per week

About the role

A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain patient history and medical records
• Administer contrast materials as directed by a physician
• Position patients appropriately for imaging
• Operate and calibrate CT scan equipment
• Accurately interpret scanning results and communicate findings to physicians
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CT technologist
• Experience with CT scanning equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Passing score on a national registry exam for CT technologists
