Travel CT Technologist - $2,472 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and monitor equipment controls, make adjustments as needed, and assist radiologists during imaging procedures.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures, including starting IVs, administering contrast, and dispensing oral contrast.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record and load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure required in most states.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
