Job Details:
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only - no weekend RTO permitted
- 36 hours offered per week
- No call requirement
- No float requirement
- Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
- Typical caseload per tech in a 12-hour shift is approximately 15-20 patients
- Work in a very fast-paced emergency department environment performing routine ED scans, Code Stroke, and Level II trauma cases
- First shift typically staffed with 4-5 techs; second shift (after 5 PM) 2-3 techs; third shift 1 tech; weekends 2 techs
- CT procedure experience required: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Must be proficient on Siemens FORCE scanner - do not apply without Siemens FORCE experience
- GE scanner experience also required
- Required skills: inpatient, ER, adult ICU
- PREFERRED SKILLS: outpatient, IV starts, PACS, contrast, Visage
- Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Unit systems: EPIC, Visage
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Epic charting experience required
About the Role
This is a large 650-bed facility that has recently achieved Level II Trauma designation. The emergency department operates around the clock and is equipped with Siemens FORCE and S3000 scanners as well as GE Sequoia equipment. The facility supports a high-volume imaging environment with multiple CT rooms and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care across a wide range of patient acuity levels.
