Key Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation and Communication: Prepare patients for CT scans, answer questions, ensure comfort; verify patient information; position patients properly; instruct on breathing or stillness.
- Operation of CT Equipment: Operate and calibrate CT scanner; administer contrast agents under guidance; monitor equipment for quality images.
- Image Quality and Review: Review and adjust scans for diagnostic quality; work with radiologists to ensure clear images.
- Patient Safety and Comfort: Follow safety protocols; maintain sterile environment; monitor patients for adverse reactions; ensure proper positioning.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals; document patient information; participate in patient care planning.
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment; keep logs of usage and repairs.
- Radiation Safety and Compliance: Follow radiation safety protocols; ensure compliance with regulations; stay updated on standards.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures, patient info, and adverse events.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate patients about aftercare; address concerns; maintain patient privacy and dignity.
Qualifications
- Current state license as a CT Technologist.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
