Travel CT Technologist - $2,412 per week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong CT scanning experience, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires expertise in patient positioning, radiation safety, contrast administration, and imaging protocols while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations following physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of CT imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Educate patients about procedures and address questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and new staff as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• Active Kentucky Radiologic Technologist License (or state license required to practice).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, patient positioning, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
