About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Aberdeen, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Accurately document patient information and images in the electronic health record.
- Adhere to radiation dose guidelines to minimize patient exposure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide clinical guidance.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a CT Technologist.
- Experience in performing CT scans on adult patients.
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency with CT equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long and occur 5 days a week.
