About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week nights assignment in Cumming, Georgia. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.

• 24-hour CT Imaging department with 3 Siemens scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, and Force)
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Average of 130 exams per day during the week and 80 exams per day on weekends
• Procedures include coronary angio, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols
• Utilizes Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector and Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures as outlined in the department’s protocols
• Operate and maintain Siemens scanners and Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector
• Ensure accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Work 12-hour night shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT specialty
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning staff who previously worked in a permanent role must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler

Schedule

• 12-hour night shift, 3 shifts per week (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 13-week contract assignment
