MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Roundup, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls of related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if required.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Absorb and label processed CT scan images in sequence.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
- Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
- Licensure in most states.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
