About the role
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This travel position offers 34 hours per week on an 8-hour, day shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
Essential Work Functions

- Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
Required Essential Skills

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills – Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/Motor Skills – Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally, as well as without assistance; contend with irregular activity schedules and continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
