About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification
- Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Position patients for CT scans
- Capture diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
- Follow safety procedures related to radiation
- Use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification
- National Certification in CT from ARRT
- State-specific licensing if required
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certified
- BLS certified
- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
Benefits
- Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
