Travel CT Technologist - $2,355 per week
About the role
The CT Technologist operates computed tomography scanners for diagnostic imaging. This role produces high-resolution cross-sectional images critical for trauma, oncology, and neurology diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiologic technology and radiation safety, with experience in diagnostic imaging settings.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for scans.
- Administer contrast agents safely.
- Maintain and perform quality checks on CT equipment.
- Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic or PACS.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Requirements
- Expertise in radiologic technology and radiation safety.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging settings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CT Technologist certification from an accredited program.
- Current state license as a CT Technologist.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CT scanners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
