Travel CT Technologist - $2,354 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a teaching hospital setting in Columbus, Ohio. The assignment starts November 2, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week (3x12‑hour day shifts).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system.
• Assist with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and transplant studies.
• Operate Siemens CT scanner and PACS system.
• Prepare and administer contrast media, including IV starts.
• Work across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and pediatric acute care areas as needed.
• Float to different units within the organization when required.
• Provide holiday coverage if holidays fall on scheduled shift days.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• Teaching hospital experience required; community hospital experience preferred.
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
• Ohio state license required if applicable.
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and ER settings required; pediatric acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications.
• Ohio licensure (if applicable).
• ACEN/CCNE accredited education.

Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens CT scanner and PACS.
• IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration.
• Ability to perform a broad range of CT studies and special procedures.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour day shifts, 3×12 hrs per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM each shift.
• Total: 36 hours per week.
• Holiday coverage required if holidays fall on scheduled shift days.
