Travel CT Technologist - $2,335 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night work. The ideal candidate should have 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, hold a BLS certification, and be ARRT (CT) certified.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance internal organ visibility
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing (when required)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
• Must be able to bend, lean, or stoop easily

• Knowledge of computed tomography equipment

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
