Travel CT Technologist - $2,334 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and evening work.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification
• Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scans
• Capture diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment
• Administer radiocontrast agents
• Evaluate CT scans for quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) national certification
• State-specific licensing (if required)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT (CT), 1 Year

Skills

• Knowledge of computed tomography equipment
• Ability to work with patients and provide reassurance
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to radiation
• Proficiency with the McKesson PACS system
