Opportunity: CT/RAD Tech - Free-Standing ED
Job Details:

  • Perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a free-standing emergency department setting
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Work as the sole CT/RAD Tech per shift
  • Average of 10-20 CT and radiology exams per shift
  • 2 call shifts required per month
  • Operate GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable X-ray equipment
  • Document using Meditech system
  • Must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology
  • Must be able to function well independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Required certifications: ARRT Rad Tech Certification, SCQRSA Certification (SC Rad Tech license), BLS
  • CT certification preferred; CT experience and knowledge required
  • Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs

About the Role

This free-standing emergency department is part of a 345-bed acute-care facility that offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, and pediatric intensive care unit in the surrounding area, as well as the only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers in the region. The facility is recognized by The Joint Commission in the areas of chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis, and stroke, and has received awards for treatment of heart attacks and strokes from the American Heart Association. The facility has also been recognized on Healthgrades' America's 250 Best Hospitals list for overall clinical excellence, and is known for fostering a team-oriented, transparent, and supportive work environment.
