Travel CT Technologist - $2,315 per week
Schedule
- Night shifts
- 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of CT and X-Ray experience
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Able to organize and prioritize work effectively
Job Details
Maintains knowledge of all CT equipment including laser camera, evaluates CT studies for quality and completeness, and utilizes advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformation, and reconstruction. Understands image display and filming options, recognizes and rectifies imaging problems, and sends images to PACS systems.
Appropriately administers contrast media as directed by the Radiologist and maintains radiation safety for patients, staff, and visitors.
Demonstrates excellent patient communication by explaining procedures clearly and courteously, responding to questions, and providing patient-centered care.
Works independently in planning and executing complex technical operations, maintains accurate documentation, and keeps the work area clean and supplied.
Collaborates effectively with internal and external healthcare professionals and staff.
