Travel CT Technologist - $2,286 per week - 1522309

About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring CT Technologists for a 13-week contract opportunity at a partnering hospital in Mount Airy, North Carolina. This role offers professional growth and rewarding patient care in a travel position with day shifts and a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Explain scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Pay

$2,120 - $2,286 per week

Schedule

• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts
