About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Works primarily in an Emergency Department environment handling trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion cases
- Uses GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners
- Performs CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, requiring independent judgment to obtain optimal image quality
- Ensures patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort
- Manipulates patient transfer equipment, lifts and transports patients, and performs continual standing and walking
- Recognizes emergency situations and adapts to a fast-paced work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in an ED, trauma, stroke, CTA, and perfusion setting
- ARRT and ARRT(CT) registry required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- Missouri Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
- BLS required
- Proficiency with GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners
- Ability to recognize emergency situations and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
