Travel CT Technologist - $2,226 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position in Franklin, North Carolina. The role involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosing medical conditions, working in a healthcare setting, and collaborating with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Setting and adjusting CT equipment controls, monitoring both equipment and patients
• Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and collating processed images
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with clerical tasks
• Charging procedures and supplies to patient records
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Delivering quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintaining a safe, patient-focused work environment

Requirements

• Eighteen months of prior experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
• State licensure (as required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Certified by ARRT (CT) or ASRT
• Eighteen months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
