Travel CT Technologist - $2,146 per week
About the Role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience who can work independently across both CT and X-ray modalities in a 137-bed acute care hospital. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Sanford, North Carolina, starting September 13, 2026.
- Work in the Imaging Department, covering both CT and X-ray
- Varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends, typically 12-hour shifts from 7A-7P or 7P-7A
- 36 guaranteed hours per week with no call requirements
- Float between X-ray and CT as needed
- Serve all patient populations, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric
- Uses GE CT Revolution and a mix of GE and Siemens X-ray rooms
The facility is a 137-bed acute care hospital and Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center with a Level 2 Nursery on-site. Services include cardiology, ortho, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, ED, gastro, hospitalist services, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment independently
- Cover varied shifts, including weekends
- Collaborate with the imaging team to provide patient-centric care
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray
- ARRT certification required
- RT and CT certifications required
- Active licensure required at time of consideration
- AHA certifications required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
