About the role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate imaging findings

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current certification in CT from a recognized organization
• Knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a formal education program in radiologic technology
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams

Skills

• Proficiency with CT equipment and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
