Handle with Care or other formal de-escalation training for the following roles: ICU, ED, ACS/Med-Surg, OPES, RNU, NICU, Peds, L&D
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide reports
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education
Requirements
- Current state license as a CT Technologist
- Experience in performing CT scans
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited CT technologist program
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
