Travel CT Technologist - $2,104 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position at a partnering hospital in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend). Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (NOC shifts available). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Pay

Compensation: $1,912 – $2,104 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
