About the role
This position is for a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The role involves operating GE Optima 660 and GE X-Ray equipment within a 47-bed acute care facility that serves patients of all ages. Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays, and the position is a replacement for permanent staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform contrast administration
- Conduct drainage studies
- Perform fluoroscopy
- Handle trauma studies
- Conduct triple-phase studies
- Perform venipuncture
- Conduct other specialized procedures, including guided biopsies
Requirements
- Associate degree
- ARRT certification
- CT credential
- Valid licenses for CT Technologist in New Mexico
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CT
- Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- All clinical staff must have required certifications submitted at the time of application (certifications are not available on-site)
- Compliance involves fingerprinting and background checks through the New Mexico Department of Health portal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with contrast administration, drainage studies, fluoroscopy, trauma studies, triple-phase studies, venipuncture, and guided biopsies

- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
- Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
