About the role

Travel CT Technologist position in Grovetown, Georgia. This role involves providing safe, effective, and age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services, primarily focusing on computed tomography procedures. The position demands independence, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure quality patient care and accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and position patients for CT procedures
• Obtain clinical histories and maintain radiation safety
• Ensure quality images and demonstrate proficiency with loading and operating power injection
• Adhere to safety protocols and document thoroughly
• Perform patient transport and assist in emergencies
• Restock supplies and maintain departmental standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiology Technology
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRT Radiography certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to operate all work stations associated with the CT department
• Ability to function independently and under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Philips CT equipment
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience with AGFA Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS)

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks (09/07/2026 to 12/07/2026)
• Availability for on-call if required
