About the role
Performs high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging for pediatric and women’s health populations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operates GE CT scanners and Shimadzu X-ray systems to produce accurate diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Utilizes Epic for documentation and workflow management and Visage PACS for image review and management.
- Delivers patient-centered care using the AIDET framework to enhance the patient experience, while collaborating with radiologists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient patient flow and high-quality outcomes.
- Maintains competency in pediatric imaging and demonstrates flexibility to support both CT and X-ray services as needed.
Requirements
Must have a current license to practice as a CT Technologist in the state of Louisiana.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification in Pediatric Imaging preferred.
- Experience with GE CT scanners and Shimadzu X-ray systems.
- Familiarity with Epic and Visage PACS.

Benefits
Pay package is based on 13 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
