About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set and monitor equipment controls, make adjustments as needed, and assist radiologists with imaging procedures.
- Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast media.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label appropriately.
- Schedule patients for procedures and perform some clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record, load and operate power injections for contrast media administration, and deliver quality patient care.
- Maintain a safe work environment and promote patient-focused, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
- Licensure required in most states.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
