Travel CT Technologist - $1,992 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Warren, Michigan. The position requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) certification, and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• State-specific licensing (when required)
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required)

• Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment
• Ability to work long shifts (12 hours, nights)

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
