About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a freestanding emergency department night shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent CT experience and active ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a freestanding emergency room (FSED) setting
- Perform 12-hour evening shifts, 3 times per week
- Work on Sundays, Mondays, and every other Wednesday and Saturday
- Wear black scrubs
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- TNCC certification required for ER placement
- Active state license required if applicable
- Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required (due to Florida placement)
Qualifications
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Skills
- CT Technologist experience

- BLS certification
- TNCC certification
- Florida licensure (if applicable)

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
